About Me

I am Anamitra Saha, a climate scientist with research interests in the Indian monsoon system, climate extremes, and disaster risk and resilience. I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Climate Change at IIT Hyderabad.

Prior to joining IITH, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, MIT. I earned my PhD at the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Bombay and my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
